Review – Beard ‘n’ Stach Oil / Balm / Wax

“I wanna smear the Cocolicious balm on a bagel”

Beard ‘n’ Stach first saw the light of day in Switzerland and instead of my trying to re-tell a story, I’m gonna copy+paste the story found on their website, because it captures everything you need to know about Beard ‘n’ Stach.

Copy+Paste from Beardnstach.com:
“As I started growing a beard I was always looking for high quality beard care products like beard balm, beard oil, scissors or beard brushes but saw that all the fine and high quality products are made in the US mostly. So after ordering a couple of products I was thinking “damn that’s a lot of money for shipping and customs every time” so I just started to create own beard oils and beard balms with different scents.

After many tries I then found the perfect mixtures and scents and thought why not starting to sell these products to also give people in Europe and especially in Switzerland some high quality beard care products. So that’s the story behind Beard ‘n’ Stach.”

Beard ‘n’ StachThat quote was said by me, because that’s what I said when I first opened the Beard ‘n’ Stach Cocolicious Beard Balm… That coconut – pineapple – mango scent is freaking amazing. I don’t know about you, but I love sweet, fruity and sensual scents and flavors, and that’s exactly what this balm gives me.

The satisfaction I feel every time I apply it to my beard is great, the consistency is exactly right and it melt’s just the right amount in your palm. The fruity, sweet and exciting scent that almost reminds me of a Pina Colada is intoxicating.

I can almost say that this is my favorite balm scent I have tried. It’s really, really nice. I love it, and my girlfriend loves it, and my co-workers loves it. And why wouldn’t we, it smells so good that you want just smear it on a bagel and eat it!

The ingredients in the Cocolicious Beard balm is: beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, argan oil, perfume oils.

Beard ‘n’ Stach

The Freshman Beard oil – A wonderful nice, clean and crispy scent spreads when I use this oil. Mysterious with a hint of peppermint?  Citrus and a touch of floral musk. As a Beard oil it does the trick perfectly, it moisturizes, nourishes, protects and give my beard a very nice shine. The scent is in my opinion pretty light, it’s kind on the nose, tho I could have gone with a slightly stronger scent, but that’s me!

I like it, it doesn’t stand out as much as the Cocolicious Beard Balm, but then again, what product does?! I would use this if I were going out to dinner with my girlfriend or meeting some friends, the scent would not overpower the food or conversations, and thats really good! A great oil, a really nice scent and well worth trying!

The ingredients in the Freshman Beard Oil is:  jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, argan oil, essential oils.

Beard ‘n’ StachThe Woodsome Beard oil – Oh that sweet scent of sawdust, oh how I like you. This scent must be one of the most popular and one of the scents that almost every brand carries. It’s a safe bet among men, because who doesn’t want their beard to smell like the forest, freshly cut tree and resin. It’s a great scent, I give you that, tho it isn’t much to say, it’s perfectly balanced. Not too strong, not too light, just perfect. I want to build stuff when I wear this oil, I want to carve stuff out of wood, I want to sit on a bench and smoke my pipe when I wear this oil… and that’s exactly how you should feel in a way, you want to feel great, and you will!

The ingredients in the Woodsome Beard Oil is:  jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, argan oil, essential oils.

Beard ‘n’ StachThe Beard ‘n’ Stach Mustache Wax – Hello little guy, aren’t you cute! A very convenient and great sized can of mustache wax. I fits great in your pocket and looks really great with the label on it. With a great scent of Cedarwood if gave my mustache a good hold and lasted a whole day.

As I feel that mu mustach isn’t styling length yet, I will do a follow up review of all the mustache waxes I got, and compare them to each other. Looking at hardness, lasting capabilities, scents and styling ability. Other then that, this wax has a nice white, hard consistency, it smells great and kept my renegade strands of hair at bay the whole day. I can’t wait until my mustache has gotten some lenght, I really want to do a curl test with this wax. I’ll probably be able to do it in a month or so. I’ll keep you all posted on that!

Final thoughts:
I LOVE the Cocolicious Beard Balm, I absolutely love it. I hope you take my word for it and order it TODAY!.
The Freshman beard oil did great, clean, tender and soothing smell well worth a try.
The Woodsome beard oil, it makes me want to do snow angels in sawdust! It keeps you on your toes with it’s crispy scent!
The Mustache wax took me through the day, as any good wax should do! I’ll keep you posted on that mustache wax comparison coming later.
