REVIEW – Big Bear Beard Balm – Beast Mode & El Chupacabra #Tameyourmane

Big Bear Beard Balm Beast Mode/El Chupacabra

Lot’s of B’s in that headline, but that’s the way we like it in this business, lot’s and lot’s of B’s, as in BEARDS. I got the honor of trying out some beard balm and beard oil from Big Bear Beard Balm, and I must say, very interesting indeed, and I know a lot of people who would love this! The scent on the oil is El Chupacabra and the beard balm is Beast Mode. I’m starting out with the oil, just to get things rolling. #tameyourmane

El Chupacabra Beard Oil – Sorry Craig, but I don’t know how to work that little dripper thingy on the oil flask :D It worked just as well removing it and being a bit careful pouring the oil. The instant i put the oil against my beard I feel this crisp, this strong yet soothing and on the same time uplifting woodsy scent. My mind is racing and I can’t put my finger on what is can smell. It’s a trip through a woodshop located beside a flower shop down a forest road. It got that hint of the deep woods, and at the same time it kicks you in the pleasure center with the clear and crisp and fresh scent of sandalwood, patchouli and bergamot. A classic, yet in this case, very refined combination that’s spot on!

The oil is clear and easy to apply, it absorbs perfectly into my beard and I want to apply more. The scent lingers on pretty long and my beard stays moisturized most of the day. I re-applied it during the afternoon and it soothed me to sleep later at night.

The ingredients in the El Chupacabra beard oil is: Sweet Almond Oil, Cedar Wood oil, Sandalwood Oil, Bergamot oil, Patchouli oil & vitamin E oil.

Beast Mode Beard Balm – This is interesting, my favorite beard kind of product is the beard balm. I love testing beard balms and different holds. I’ve noticed that when your beard gets to a certain length, a good beard balm is the key to keep in nice and tidy, otherwise you might end up with a crows nest on your chin. Even tho the Beast Mode beard balm is pretty soft, or really soft even, it does give my beard the hold it needs during the day. It does the trick and it smells fantastic. It reminds me of the beard oil scent wise, but a little bit softer, a little more citrusy and sweet.

I kind of like the softness on this, mostly because a lot of balms tend to be rock hard, and that makes application more difficult. I will cherish whats left of this and I will use it to the very last ounce. I really like this balm, it’s a winner in my book! Also, I sit here sniffing it, sniffing it and sniffing it, it smells so darn good and I really enjoy it!

The ingredients in the Beast Mode beard balm is: Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Bergamot, Patchouli, Cedar Wood, & Sandalwood

Final words:
Both blends, El Chupacabra and Beast Mode, similiar yet different, they hit right on the money scent wise, they compliment each other and are very easy to like. The softness of the balm, yet sturdiness it gives, are great. The oil isn’t “oily” and it works wonders with the vitamin E to keep the beard healthy. Great products that you really should check out!
