Review: Damn Good Soap Co Oil, Balm & Soap

Damn, Damn Good Soap Co made some amazing stuff!

I absolutely love the Damn Good Soap Co Beard Soap, it looks stunning and should be in every mans shower. The charcoal in the soap makes it black, rustic and intriguing. I wish I had more! I hardly dare to use it because I don’t want to run out.

Look at it, doesn’t it look stunning?!

Activated Charcoal Beard Soap
The soap doesn’t only look good, it does wonders for your beard and it smells amazing. With a Sandalwood/Citrusy scent it really kickstarts you in the morning.  The bars comes in about 135 gram blocks, and it lasts forever. I’ve had mine for a few months now and I still have some left. The soap gets the black color from activated charcoal, which according to Damn Good Soap Co is because:

“We wanted black soap, and charcoal is a natural colorant, but we found out it is so much more. It is very purgatory for your skin. So our soap doesn’t just cleans, it does wonders for sensitive skin with acne or other skin related problems. And it still looks cool:)”

As I said, the Sandalwood/Citrusy scent is so fresh and so crisp that you want to apply it again after rinsing. It also makes your beard healthy, shiny and soft. The ingredients really help to keep your beard happy, thriving and amazing. The Damn Good Soap Co Beard Soap is one of my favorites, I wish I had a years worth and I wish I had some to give away, because these are great!

The ingredients are:
Sodium Palmate, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Almondate, Sodium Castorate, Aqua, Kaolin, Pumice, Activated Charcoal, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil.

The Woods Beard Oil
What can I say, WoW! If you ever feel tired in the morning, use this oil! It’s so amazing and uplifting it’s unheard of! The strong crisp citrus/pine/sandalwood with a hint of cardamon scent is fantastic. It’s strong, but in a good way, it doesn’t overpower of irritate, it’s just amazing! And as the name suggests, it really gets you thinking of the woods. I love this, it sparks my imagination and really gets me focused.

Application is easy and it’s absorbed really good. One thing I like is that it comes in a plastic bottle, which makes my carry it with me everywhere, because I’m not afraid it will break, as many of other brands glass bottle do.

The ingredients are:
Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Juniperus communis (Juniper Berry Oil, Cedrus deodora (Cedarwood) Oil, Citrus bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Pinus sylvestris (Pine Needle) Oil, Santalum album (Sandalwood) Oil, Cinnamon camphora sieb Oil, Salvia lavandulaefolia (Sage) Oil, Cupressus sempervirens (Cypress) Oil.

The Beard Balm
Oh how I wish I had more of this, I got a small sample sized container, but it smells so good that I want to use it everyday and almost eat it. The scent reminds me of the beard oil, but it has a splash of Patchouli oil which elevates it a little bit more. It got a fruity, yet crisp and amazingly fresh scent. Scent wise this is one of my favorite beard balms. I got nothing bad to say about this one. The texture is great as well, and a bit different then all other. It’s white, soft and got almost a gritty texture, tho it melts instantly in your palms and applies beautifully into your beard. You need to get this!

The ingredients are:
Butyrospernum parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Cera Alba, Castor Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia) Oil, Sandalwood (Santalum Album) Oil, Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli) Oil.

Final words:
Damn Good Soap Co got some amazing products, amazing scents and something you really need to look into if you’re looking for beard products. Buy one of their packs with a Oil, Balm, Soap and comb, all in one! You wont regret it and you’re set for months to come!

BONUS!
I also got this wooden comb from Damn Good Soap Co, which I really like. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s great for combing my beard. Wooden combs are also better for your beard then metal combs!
