Hello Mr Candyman!
On popular demand I have tried the popular products of Percy Nobleman. And what took me so long?!
These oils and moustache wax came packaged very neatly in plastic shrink-wrap and bubbles, I love bubble wrap by the way! A first look at these products tell’s a story of fanciness and nobility. It feels special and very nicely thoughtful.
As always I started out with the smell test, carefully opening the packages and smelling them. Starting out with the oil I was made aware that it did not smell, it’s scentless, which can be nice if you’re using other nice smelling products. Also, the Beard Conditioning Oil is supposed to be used after the ever so lovely Beard Wash…
I took some Beard Conditioning Oil in the palm of my hand and massaged in to my beard, I could not wait any longer. First impressions where that the oil was absorbed very fast by the beard, and I made it shine like a bright star. It gave it some volume and sturdiness expected of a good oil. I put my brush to my beard and started brushing… *Swosch*, *Swosch*, *Swosch*… It want through my beard so easily. It really cleared up my split ends and hair knots that had built up during the day. My beard got a very nice texture.
Aaah, the Beard Wash!
A first for me, I have never tried a dedicated beard wash before. I was very pleased and surprised, I used the Beard Wash on my dry beard and it worked great. It has a white, creamy consistency and smells amazing. It reminds me of “Polkagrisar” from my childhood. These sweet peppermint candies you mostly ate at Christmas, or.. I still do to be honest!
It says on the bottle that it has a light citrusy scent, but I cant seem to shake that hint of peppermint. It smells amazing! I want candy! (Imagine that cover by Aaron Carter). The Beard Wash also gave my skin a cool smooth icy sensation, it was so very pleasant and I wanted to apply more just for that feeling. I wish it could last forever. I will use this beard wash everyday until I run out, then I will order some more! It’s that nice!
Percy Nobleman’s Beard Wash is 71% organic, uses 71% active ingredients and, most importantly, is 100% pure and natural.
Wax my stache!
I’m currently growing my MO’ just because I want to do these huge curls. I think it looks so damn good, and fancy! My moustache is pretty thick at the moment and since a botched scissoring a few weeks back, most of my moustache hair grows in every direction possible.
It’s pretty annoying when a strand of moustache hair gets up your nose and tickles you. After following the directions on the Percy Nobleman Moustache Wax of applied it to my moustach, I combed it and left it be…
That was a few hours ago, and I’ve had about 6 cups of coffee and lunch, it still looks great. No renegade strands of hair, no one of the little buggers trying to escape. The wax holds every strand in their place and it looks very smooth. I’m looking forward to using more of this wax as my MO’ gets bigger and bigger. I might have to do a followup on the stasche wax as I really want to see it in action with a bigger moustache.
What did I think?
I loved the Beard Wash, it was amazing. That scent hit me right in the pleasure center of my brain, it was that good. The oil did it’s job, a little hard to get off your hands tho, but all in all, together with the beard wash, really, really good. Same goes for the moustache wax, hard consistency and easy to apply, keeps those pesky moustache hairs in place, will do a follow-up review on the wax in a few weeks tho!
