Review: Texas Beard Company

The other day I got a package all the way from Texas Beard Company with some beard oils and beard balm in a very neatly package. Very nice packaged in glass bottles with a label attached with a rough string. It gave a real nice first impression and a rustic look. All the things in the package had a nice and professional printing on it. Bottles, balm can, paper bags, business card and stickers. I really felt like a friend and customer and that it was packaged with great care and love, it was amazing.

I got three oils and one balm with the scents Mint Eucalyptus, Clove Citrus and Cedar Pine, the balm was unscented. I really didn’t know where to start, I was too excited. Tho I did what anyone would do, I smelled each and every one and compared. Took deep breaths and tried to analyze the scents. One in particular, I think it was Cedar Pine that reminded me of my family, christmas and everything around it. In Sweden we have a drink called “Glögg“, it’s mostly drunk during christmas, with or without alcohol. In english it’s called “mulled wine“, but I’m not sure if it’s the same taste as in Sweden. It brought back memories of me making “Glögg” a few years back and giving away as gifts.

Cedar Pine was the scent of yesterday and I liked it. It was a pretty strong scent, and it lasted for hours. Texture wise it gave my beard and amazing glow and soft feel that lasted the whole night. I was very pleased. Before bed I tried the Texas Beard Company unscented Beard Balm because of my somewhat unhealthy obsessions to beard oils and balms, I couldn’t possibly wait until morning.

The difference between this beard balm and others I’ve tried is that this one is more of a mousse kind of balm. It’s white, soft and very smooth. It’s easy to work with and it is absorbed by the beard just perfectly. Tho I am a fan of scented oil and balm, I’m still very fond of it. I know several occasions that a unscented beard balm come in handy. And it’s really good for your beard.

Texas Beard Company offers oils and balms with the following scents, Cedar Pine, Mint Eucalyptus, Clove Citrus and Unscented.

A great beard oil and balm that you have to try and it can be found here: Texas Beard Company
